I have had the same problem with this Laptop Jack as well. In fact I have become so frustrated with this problem that I have twisted and turned the original HP 65Watt Power Adapter out of the socket. I had to order another online because Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, only sell the popular 90W adapter which will NOT work on the Pavilion ze2000. Now the problem has progressed on to the actual DC jack board which I will have to replace after numerous attempts at resodering the jack to even get a charge at all. So for what is worth your not alone with this problem. Obviously this is a FAIL part for HP but its ok because we are always the only one who pays in the end. Cheers.
