Q:
I downloaded a mobilementer of 0.3.1.0 version; I have few questions about my laptop temperatures:
The first is that the temperature bar shows that my laptop runs around 66.5℃, HDD round 47℃, now whether these two temperatures normal, or whether it’s a kind of overheated?
I am kina out of my wits, as I haven’t run any other applications. I often start Firefox (sometimes there’re 20 options reached), Outlook, Word and some other applications, sometime start them all, even with power supply on.
Hope to get y our advice and help.

1): I often install and RMClock for my customers and ask them to use it, as it not only shows real-time changes of temperature, but also to lower CPU frequency to save power.
As there’s L2 , you could run it under 1GHz or even lower frequency.
2): The temperature your laptop showed is quite common, far from the so-called dangerous area. I suggest you using 18Kfangui, which is specially made for Dell laptop. It could control laptop fan working. I often controlled my customers’ laptop at a low-speed running state, besides, under some low temperature, sometimes the temperature could lower down quickly. About 40 to 45 ℃. You could also check up whether there’s dust on the thermal module inside the laptop, probably a dusted fan may let your laptop temperature increase much.
3): Dell M1210 laptop’s temperature keeps around 40 to 45 ℃ under a normal loading situation (browse webpages, text disposal, watch movies and so on), this is und
