I formatted my Dell 6400 laptop which was just bought recently, and everything is fine. Besides, all drivers could be installed normally. Whereas, in device manager, I found there’re many unknown devices with a yellow exclamatory mark. Now I cannot define them exactly. Is there any correct method to solve them? Meanwhile, why my laptop heats more after I format disk or reinstall system. Just because I work with it? Or something else?

1): If you cannot find your driver in startup records, then try deleting all devices with yellow exclamatory mark, and then restart your system.
2): Have you ran your card reader driver? Generally speaking, these things are those so-called unknown devices. I doubt whether your modem, wireless network card and network card are installed correctly. As about the overheating problem, you could check up your power start file in control panel—power options, confirm your power option setup is portable/laptop, probably this would help!
3): You know in your driver CD, there’re few drivers coming from Dell. If your driver is not in the list, then it should use XP drivers.
