Q:
Hello, my Acer 4920 laptop now could only enter Setup menu interface from disc (press F2 when Acer interface appears), now the problem is that it cannot run normally. After LOGO menu displays, there’s only a blank screen, nothing else. It even couldn’t start any system mark menu. What should I do to save my data in system? Hope to get your advice and help, thank you so much!

1): I think your laptop gets a blank screen problem, and there’re few reasons causing blank screen:
-Display card problem: probably it’s the driver problem or the display card itself.
-Connection problem: probably the connection between display card and display gets something wrong.
This failure sometimes happens on laptop, disconnection or short circuit may cause display signal abnormal. But it’s rare on desktop, because desktop’s connection cable is thick and firm, besides, it’s not moved a lot, so it’s rarely damaged.
-Monitor problem: the main chip controlling screen is broken, but this situation is quite rare.
2): Look carefully, whether there’s a cursor flashing on the top left corner of the screen, if yes, then probably it’s the problem of OS and hard disk. You may change a new hard drive and reinstall Windows. Confirm it and pack the disassembled hard disk with a movable disk box and connect to other computer, then test and save the data on the disk.
3): Probably there’re some other reasons:
Try pulling off the battery, only connected with power adapter and then check up whether it
