Q:
Hello, now my problem is that my Acer3500 laptop suddenly stopped and it could not start any more, I even changed a new battery, but it still could not start. Why is this? Motherboard problem? Hope to get your suggestions and help; I’d really appreciate your help!
A:
1): Most of laptop problems like this are because of memory, probably your system memory temperature is too high, you could first remove the memory and plug it back again, and then start it up.
2): Probably this is because of bad CPU thermal performance. It’s quite often that CPU radiator’s fasten clip would break off, or there’s something between CPU radiator and CPU, and after CPU fan has worked for a long period, there’s too much dust on radiator, all these situations would cause bad CPU radiation. And too high temperature would lead machine auto shut down.
Furthermore, these situations would also cause the problem that the laptop would auto shut down for self-protection during work: temperature probe under CPU is broken or the internal temperature circuit of P4 CPU is broken, there’s Bug in BIOS of motherboard, under certain special condition, the temperature test is not accurate and so on..
At last, if we set the CPU protection temperature too low in CMOS, then it would also cause auto shutdown.
3) For this kind of problem, here’re my suggestions:
-Reinstall system, check out whether there’s similar problem.
-Check out whether memory stick is compatible, or there’s some other problem.
-Check out whether rad
