Q:
Hello, I have an Acer 4920 laptop, and now my problem is that when I start system, I get an error prompt: “btwhidcs.dll” file could not be found. And this problem disturbs much, what should I do? Hope to get your suggestion and help. Thank you!!
A:
1): You could try the next method: click start—run—type “regedit” and press Enter to start REGESIT. Remember, first click “My Computer” on the top left corner on the new window to ensure entire disk searching.
And then click “Edit”—Search—type “btwhidcs.dll” on the top left corner to start searching.
When found, just delete them as much as they are.
At last, restart the machine. And the there’re some files software could not delete completely or preserved by antivirus software, you could delete them, which would not affect the machine.
2): Click Start—Run—type “msconfig” and press Enter to start a new window, and on the top left corner, click “startup” and find relevant software with btwhidcs.dll, and remove them from “Startup Item”. Hope this could help you!
