Q:
I have a Dell 6400 laptop, and I got a problem: at the bottom part on the screen, I found there’s serious light leaky problem. And since I’ve found the problem, it really makes me annoying. It would not happen only when I turn the screen background black and watch movie; is this normal? One of my friends has a same laptop as mine, but his 6400 has no such a problem. Hope your any suggestion and help, thank you so much!
A:
1): I’m sorry that you got such a terrible screen problem, but personally, I think most screens have different extents of light leaky symptom at the bottom of screen, which are all normal. And your problem isn’t a special one. If the situation is even worse, then you should contact Dell and tell them the terrible problem you’ve been facing right now, and ask to change!
2): At a certain moment, if you notice light leaky symptom, then I’m really sorry that your laptop screen does have something wrong with its structure design. If the machine has expired its warrant period, and you can still change a new screen to solve the problem. As there’s a certain default when design the laptop structure and there’s still no perfect solution for it, so after products leave factory, there may be a certain degree of probability of occurrence of such undesirable symptom.
Hope this could help.
