Step 1

Click on the link provided in the Resource section "Windows XP Professional Utility: Setup Disks for Floppy Boot Install."

Step 2

Click "Instructions" section before installing the software to be sure you meet the system requirements.

Step 3

Click "Download" and follow the prompts to copy registry information using six floppy disks.

Step 4

Download the "Windows 2000 Registry Repair Utility" via the link provided in the Resource section. Follow the prompts instructing you to install "Windows XP Setup Boot Disk No.1" and continue through as directed. (Note: Remember to select option "Repair" when asked to either install or repair the existing registry.)

Step 5

Remove the boot disks after the repair utility has finished and boot your system. If the repair was not corrected, click on the link "Microsoft Product Support Services" and request aid in troubleshooting.
