Click “OK”, and then a node representing remote machine would appear in the registry editor.
 
Now browse HKLM on the server, and find out the key:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server
 
Under Terminal Server key, you will find a key named fDenyTSConnection of REG_DWORD type. Double click the key to open “Edit DWORD Value” dialog, change 1 (Disable Remote Desktop) to 0 (Enable Remote Desktop)
 
The remote server needs reboot to make it take effect. So open a command prompt window, keyed the command: shutdown -m \srv220 –r
  After remote machine reboots, the Remote Desktop would be enabled. To validate from your workstation, please open “Start”—“All programs”
--“Accessories”—“Communication”—“Remote Desktop connection”, type the remote server name to the remote desktop connection logon text, and type your password when prompt appears, then you can logon the remote server.
