Compared to Windows XP taskbar, the file preview function on Windows 7 super taskbar has great improvement. But this needs hardware configuration support, as file preview, especially the preview for video file, consumes more system resources. (Because during the preview process, video file could stay on playing state, besides, the consumption of system resources depend on how many video files are opened)
It’s a quite nice function, but needs high hardware configuration support, which is hard to make a choice. In fact, we can use a compromised method: disable some types of file preview selectively, only preserving the preview function for some common file formats, for instance, compared to picture file preview, video file preview takes more resources. We can consider cancelling the preview for video files, while preserving preview for picture file and other formats.
The first step:
Create a new notepad, and then type the next content below:

Tip:
Similarly, if you want to cancel preview function for some file format, add the suffix of the relevant file format.
