Little tip: conversions from IDE to SATA and SATA to IDE are two different conceptions, the previous one is to convert IDE device to SATA interface, then to make the old devices apply on new motherboard, while the latter one is to convert the IDE interface on old motherboard to SATA, then to support new SATA devices, such as SATA hard disk.
As the little converter uses JMicron JM20330 chip, which could auto recognize in system, and there won’t be any compatibility problem even when installing system. So far as I know that we have tested decades IDE devices, but no any stability problem is found yet, all devices could work normally. Now what, would you still say that IDE interface is not enough?
