Q:
Recently my Pavilion DV6000 laptop’s running temperature is a little high, especially the place where you hold it. So I intend to disassemble my laptop, clear dust off the fan and other components.
At the beginning, I thought this would be a simple job, I just need to screw every snail, and then I could see everything. However, out of my expectation, I couldn’t open the back cover. Anybody knows which screw should I unpack if I want to disassemble my laptop completely? Besides, I want for some suggestions to stop the overheating problem of my laptop.
Thanks for your help!
A:
1): Next is a link about HP Pavilion DV6000 technical service:
http://pdftown.com/HP-Pavilion-DV6000-Service-Manual.html. it talks about CPU fan and thermal patch. The difficulty depends on personal experience, so….be cautious.
At the same time, check out the knowledge about thermal direction.
http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=60914, ease the pressure for your processor! And an external USB radiator would help a lot, but it’s out of place to clear up dust on CPU fan.
2): The disk is on the place where you hold the laptop; first use HWMonitor to test your CPU temperature. If it could test, then CPU fan’s effect to the disk would be quite little.
3): If you enter HP website, you could find relevant direction there. You can find the BIOS you want. In BIOS column, click relevant link, then you could get all DV6000 BIOS versions, F.16 must be there. Please operate by the direction, you know that it’s a dangerous thing t
