Everybody wants once computer starts up, it could enter Windows system immediately without any wait, but for kinds of reasons, usually, the fact is not the one we wished. Even the situation sometimes happens that system gets down once starting up. In fact, sometimes Windows start slowness is not the problem itself, but caused by some devices or software. 1. USB disk, scanner and some devices
If computer has installed scanner and some devices, or already connected USB disk when starting, then why not try disconnecting them first, check up whether there’s change on start speed. Generally speaking, as USB interface speed is slow, so relevant device would have obvious influence on computer starting speed. You should connect USB device after starting up as possible as you can. If there’s no USB device, then suggest disabling USB function directly in BIOS Setup.
Prompt: as when Windows starts, system would inspect each drive (including DVD-ROM/CD-ROM), so if there’s disc in DVD-ROM/CD-ROM, it would also prolong the computer starting time.
2. Disconnect network drive not in use
To avoid or reduce the network connection times that Windows has to recreate, suggest disconnecting some network drives not in use, namely, enter “My Computer”, right click the network drive already established mapping, just choose “Disconnect”.
