Q:
I have an A105-S101 laptop, after installing XP Pro system and updating all drivers, then I found there was no “Hibernate” option in the shutdown options, according to the settings in power control panel, I still got the hibernating function, but there’s no button to control it. Why is this?
Hope your help, thank you so much!
A:
1): Hibernating function is not chosen and controlled by shutdown menu, there’re only “Standby”, “Shutdown” or “Restart” there. You could control the hibernating function option by Toshiba power management application.
2): My suggestion is: you could reinstall the XP system patch attached with the laptop when you bought, you could reinstall necessary drivers selectively, especially in power control, you could choose relevant drivers. After reinstallation, restart it and then you could see the hibernating option again.
