How to solve the problem that HP DV2000 laptop’s cursor jumps when inputting on keyboard?

My HP DV2000 laptop recently got some keyboard failure, the problem is that when I input, the cursor on the screen will jump randomly, to the input paragraph, and sometimes it would jump suddenly or vanish. This is really confusing, what am I supposed to solve it? Hope your any suggestion and help, thank you so much!
A:
First make a judgment whether the problem comes from software or hardware. Put a bootable pure DOS disc to DVD-ROM/CD-ROM to start, after finishing starting, test typing with the touch pad and keyboard. If you find that the displayed character is not accorded to the relevant key knocked, or the touch pad and certain key or the entire keyboard doesn’t work, then it means the laptop failure is relevant with hardware; at this moment, the key point of failure judgement is the hardware connection status, keyboard, memory stick, and the concrete operation, you can refer to (the minimum system judgment method) in the article <<1.4.2 6 ”Hard” methods to repair laptop>>.
 Probably there are few situations which may lead to this symptom:
1) There’s something wrong with the touch pad, after disabling it, check whether the problem is still existed;
2) After disabling the touchpad, the problem still exists. Directly disconnect the data cable between touchpad and motherboard, and then test with an USB mouse, check whether the same problem occurs again;
3) There’s something wrong with the keyboard, after changing a new keyboard and try again;
