Perfect manual for laptop keyboard failure
1. Key distance
It means the downward distance of the button when you push the key down naturally with your fingers. Usually laptop keyboard key distance is about 2.50~3.0mm averagely. However, this is closely bound up to the keyboard height, finally influencing the machine height. Laptops with long key distance could bring users the feeling close to desktop keyboard. If the key distance is short, then when users press down keyboard, it may feel thin and hard, of no flexibility, which is quite easily to get tired. If you feel unreal, then you need to find out the reason on the conductive plastic.
2. Rebound
It means when tapping the keyboard with fingers, the resistance feeling produced by key hat, which has much to do with the key distance. If the key distance is proper, then the rebound force would be comfortable too, then there’s no feeling of abrupt or sticky. The both need rational cooperation to bring the most comfortable feeling. If you feel there’s something wrong with the rebound, then you have to find out the reason from conductive plastic and fasten (plastic) bracket.
3. Key-to-key distance
This distance means the space between two buttons border upon at the same plane level or vertical position. It’s also a key factor deciding the quality of the keyboard. If the key-to-key distance is too close, then there might be continual letters when typing. So as for this aspect problem, you need to find out the reason from the fasten (plastic) bracket.
