I bought a second-hand Toshiba Satellite U200 laptop, but there’s on problem always confusing me: the laptop installs a system of French version, and I want an English version, and I have an English system CD at hand, so I want to know whether I can install the English system directly like this? And cover the French version directly? Do I need to reinstall drivers? Whether there’re the drivers on Toshiba website?

1): Of course you could delete your French system, but if you just format and then install your English system, then the speed might be even faster and easier. And it’s not a good idea to directly cover the French version system with the English one, which might cause system errors!
2): You could install English system on your laptop, generally speaking, laptop store has system installation CD for sale, you could buy one and then install by yourself. However, new installed system won’t have drivers in there, so you have to reinstall all your drivers and all kinds of software. And you could find these all on Toshiba website.
