Recently, my HP laptop cannot dial to the Internet normally, after attempting connecting; the data sent and received all have no reply. What should I do to solve this problem? Hope to get your any suggestion and help, thank you!

1. Check these steps:
1) Check up whether the laptop connects with the phone cable normally;
2) Check whether your phone and extension telephone are hanged all right, and make sure that they are not on phone.
3) If your phone line is ISDN, then please make sure whether the device is connected normally and be able to work.
4) Please make sure that your phone line is OK, and could dial exterior line normally.
5) Some special phone line device standards will be different from common line, of which compatibility might cause trouble to the Internet availability for your laptop. But as long as your laptop is able to dial to the Internet on common direct line, then it would not be a problem.
2. There are 5 possible failure reasons:
a) ADSL Modem or segregator failure. ADSL Modem or segregator has quality issue, which would cause frequent offline problem. Suggest using a set of device would work normally. After changing it, then test again.
b) ADSL line failure. House is far from the bureau machine room (usually it should be less than 3000 meters), or there’s strong interference source around the line, it would cause offline quite often. Besides, suggest using twisted-pair between junction box and ADSL Modem, even you use parallel, it should not exceed 5 met
