My laptop is HP DV6700, but recently I found a problem when I’m using it: the laptop overheats quite easily, especially the bottom part. Even when process daily document, the machine temperature would be very high, what should I do to solve this problem?
This machine’s configuration is very good, especially CPU and display card;
Laptop is a stuff heats much, general extent heating is normal, but over high radiation would make the machine unstable and using life shortened. As for your situation, if not affect normal use, it’s normal.
1) Pay attention to the surrounding environment of the laptop. It would be better to use laptop where has draughty situation. Of course, air-conditioning room would be a good choice, besides, make sure the thermal holes of the laptop would be covered or blocked, meanwhile don’t pose it to the tinderbox.
2) Cushion laptop bottom back-end high, letting certain gap between the bottom part and the desktop, which is not only good for radiation, but also certain lean angle would make it more comfortable to use.
3) Pay attention to the laptop power mode. When set it “Portable/pocket” power management mode, then laptop would optimize system power management according to use situation, and auto adjust CPU calculation speed, finally achieving the power-saving and cooling down function.
