age information in “Add/Delete Software”
Uninstall certain application from the “Add/Delete software” in “Control Panel”, but sometimes, after uninstalling the application, it’s still listed in the file, as time passes, there will be more and more garbage information there. And here’s way to delete this: open “REGEDIT”, take turns to expand the branch “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SoftwareMicrosoft/Windows/CurrentVersion /Uninstall”, on the right side of the screen, all projects are listed in the “Add/Delete software”, choose the garbage projects, right click the value, and on the prompt menu, choose “Delete” command.
7. Delete the remained information in the playlist record of Windows Media Player
After a long period of time, you will find that in the playlist dropdown text of Windows Media Player, there is the file list ever played, some information is already useless at all, but the playlist is filled up completely. And the method to delete the useless information here is: open REGEDIT, find the branch “HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/MediaPlayer/Player/ RecentFileList”, the right side pane will display the play records, delete these keys all, then the play records would be delete all.
With the same method, we can also delete the playlist garbage information in RealPlayer and the picture list information of ACDSee and so on.
