1. Check up whether the Guest account is enabled
By default setting, XP doesn’t enable Guest account, so to let other use your computer, you can enable Guest account. From the point of security, set password or relevant permissions for Guest account. Similarly, set an user name and password for each other computer, then you can visit each other among the computers;
2. Check up whether it’s set to refuse Guest account to visit local host from network
If Guest account is enabled, but cannot visit LAN at all, then please check whether it is set to refuse Guest account to visit computer from network, because XP system doesn’t allow Guest logging from network by default, so even Guest account is enabled, it’s still unavailable to visit.
