5. Install network components correctly
First of all, right click Network Neiborhood and choose Properties, choose the network card to share. Set the IP within the same network sector of the LAN, such as the network sector 192.168.1.x, and then check up TCP/IP advanced property, whether NETBIOS is enabled or not.
6. Firewall
To ensure Win XP firewall is not enabled, please open local connection property –gt; advanced, disable the Internet connection firewall.
If third party firewall product is used, then please refer to the manual; ensure the firewall hasn’t disabled some necessary communication ports.
