Apple's computer designs are quite stunning and you don't want them to get dirty. After owning a Macbook Pro for a while now, I did have to clean it because of things such as oil from hands. I did some research online and choosing the best techniques, I decided to pass my finding onto you.
DO NOT SPRAY SOLUTIONS ONTO THE LCD SCREEN
Mr.Clean Magic Eraser
These can be found at any store in the cleaning isle. They sell for about $2-4 (depending on size). They're basically sponge-like pads with a special soap in them. These do a great job of getting rid of discolorations on the wrist pads. You can use them all around the computer. Wet a corner of the "magic eraser" and wipe. As mentioned, DO NOT clean the screen with it. For the cheap price, these are truly great (you can use them for other cleaning needs too).
iKlear
The iKlear kit costs $20 at Amazon.com and comes with a spray and some cleaning cloths. Though this is a bit expensive, I found it great for the keyboard keys. The kits are also good for iPods.
Carl Zeiss Lens Cleaner
The Carl Zeiss Lens Cleaner can be bought as a spray or pre-moistened cloths. Both work great. They can range from $5-10.
Cleaning the LCD Screen
Because of chemicals in the solutions, you shouldn't use sprays and such on the LCD screen. If you happen to get marks on the screen, purchase a spray that specifically says "LCD Cleaner". Staples carries these for around $5. Spray onto a lint-free cloth, do not spray directly onto the screen. To dry, use a lint-free cloth. Lint-free cloths are great for removing fingerprints also.
