The way to clear the viruses on burned discs

Actually, it is quite simple to clear the viruses on burned discs, and the implement process is also easy, that is to use the accessory software Adaptec Easy CD Creator, it provides multi-segment burning function.

 The first step: copy the data of the virus infected disc to a temporary folder on hard disk, such as Temp (in fact, there is no need to copy all files on the disc to hard disk, you only have to copy the executable file *.exe, for other files are not infected by  viruses.);

 The second step:

restart the computer with a clean startup disc, then scan and kill the viruses in system with antivirus software. After that, take out all floppy discs and CDs.

 The third step: restart system, and at this moment, close the system function "Auto insert announcement", it is equal to modify in CD-ROM properties, remove the selection of ?°Auto insert announcement?±, and then restart the computer. As the software on CD would run automatically, this probably let system infect viruses again.

 The forth step: start Adaptec Easy CD Creator, insert the infected burned disc, delete the files with viruses (generally they are executable files like *.exe).

 The fifth step: add the data under the Temp folder again, and make a new one. And then there wonot be any viruses on the disc generally.

 The sixth step: donot forget to test the next step, namely, to check the disc again with antivirus software to ensure there is no virus on there.

 Tips:

* Except Easy CD, other multi-segment burning software can also do the job like Nero.
* To append new content to burned disc, you must keep this in mind: do not finish the CD after the burning (or seal), otherwise, you could not write to next time.
