Q:
I have two problems about m1210 laptop:
-m1210’s config table shows the weight is of 4.37 pounds, which is under the situation equipped with 6-core battery. So if I equip it with a 9-core battery, how much is the weight about?
-when equip with a 6-core battery, m1210 could hold about 3.5 hours. So when equip with a 9-core battery, how long could it hold? About 7.5 hours?
Hope to get your suggestion and help. Thank you!
A:
1): For the first problem, I am not 100% sure about. Because I haven’t weighted it ever, but according to my experience, the weight with a 9-core battery is about 4.5 to 4.8 pounds.
-For the second problem, your idea seems that you often run application consuming much power. But my 6-core battery could not hold 3.5 hours’ power, at most 2.75 hours. But this is the data with the screen turned to the lowest level. If you equip with a 9-core battery, for general laptop working, it could hold about 5 hours.
2): Generally speaking, you could hardly feel the weight increase, because different batteries have little weight variety. Generally 9-core battery’s capacity would have 60% more power than 6-core one.
3): Exactly, 9-core battery is not much heavier than 6-core one, at most 30% heavier. Their primary difference is mainly on the size, as 9-core battery’s capacity; inevitably its size would be much bigger than 6-core battery.
Theoretically, 9-core battery could be used about 7.5 hours, which could hardly be achieved in fact, even when system is completely resting. Generally speaking, it could use
