Attention: Please make sure that the laptop is not connecting to any power source including the battery and the AC adapter.
First of all, you should disassemble your laptop, take the motherboard out, here you could find some disassembling manuals for some main laptop brands, such as IBM, Dell, HP, Compaq, Toshiba. If your laptop is not in the list, then you’d have to find out how to disassemble it by your own.
For the repair, you need these tools below:
1.Solder suction device is used to remove the soldering tin around the circuitries. I use solder suction device: De-soldering Tool model: Tool VTD5;

2.Searing-iron or jointing station. I use Weller WES51 Analog Soldering Station, Power Unit, Soldering Pencil, Stand and Sponge, and I repair this item, the settled working temperature is about 800-850°F
