Import Outlook Express into Mail

Many switchers would face the problem switching mails, on Win PC, many user would adopt the mail software Outlook Express (short for OE next). Therefore, it’s the problem that people may come to a lot that import original OE mails to Mac Mail.app. Fortunately, the good news is that kezmor provides an available method on Ptt WebBBS, agreed by him, I post the solution here just for reference:

1. First download the little application “dbxconv” to Win PC.

2. Put the application to Outlook Express mail material folder.

3. Drag .dbx mail documents to the little application then new .mbx document would be auto created.

4. Change .mbx to .mbox and then transfer to Mac laptop.

5. Open Mail.

6. Click Document—input mail box, and choose other format.

7. And then choose the folder you want to place the .mbox material, then import begins. Wait for some moment….

So if you do have the requirement to transfer original OE mails on Win PC to Mac Mail, you may try it!
