Q: I just noticed that the left button on touchpad is not responsive.

I have to press hard and even for this, it does not work sometimes. Only by press close to direction of the line of right button, can it work.

Question:

1. Is it because of HP's poor build quality?
2. Is it fixable by myself? I owned it for only a few months and it is still under warranty. But I can't afford the time lost to for repairment.



A: It is caused by defective switch with left button of the touchpad, if the left button need more force (press hard) and it will respond on the screen , then touch pad is not suitable for you, you’d better to replace a good touch pad or external mouse.
