How to solve the problem that “HP TX1000 Laptop” could not start?
Question: I have a HP TX1000z laptop, but few days ago, suddenly it could not start. The power lamp just flashed a while, and few seconds later, it auto shut down, I even couldn’t catch to click anything, it turned off. So I contacted HP service center, they let me try resetting internal modules, removing the RAM, and plugging them back to the memory slot again. And I did what they told, finally it didn’t work. Anybody know the problem?
A: this question also happened to my TX1000, when I pressed power switch button, the hard disk lamp flashed several times, and then the screen turned black. The computer could not start; even the BIOS could not appear.
After few times’ repair and attempt, I figured out a solution: if I press around the keys J,K,L,I,O with my palm, the laptop could start. So I checked up TX1000 maintenance manual, finding that the reverso place of these keys is the exact location of the CPU. Terrible!! So try the method, press your palm to the specified area and then start power. Try it!
