When hacker’s placed viruses work? It’s hard to speak, as there’re variable situations when they take effect. But if your computer has some symptoms as below, probably it has been infected viruses.
Sometimes the computer is dead, sometimes it restarts; when there’s no executions, but it is accessing hard disk at full split; system searches floppy drive without request inexplicably; although no big program runs, system speed is slower and slower, when you right click [My computer], check the [Properties]—[Performance]—[System resources], generally it should be above 90%; call task table by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL, you will find there’re many processes running with the same name, besides, as time passes, they become more. Especially after connecting to Internet or LAN, if your machine has similar symptoms, you’d be careful, of course some other viruses might cause these symptoms.
When you clear up these viruses, you’d better use the latest antivirus software, in case viruses could not be inspected. If you don’t have one at hand right now, but you still feel there’s something wrong. Whether there’re viruses, your experience would help you make a decision! Next is some experience:
1. Check up two files c:autoexec.bat and c:\config.sys, where there’re some drivers system need. Take a look is there any strange driver appended, if you have doubt something, just add “REM” before them. And remove “REM” when you want
