Solution 1: close system recovery
To certain extent, system disk’s available space also affects system running speed. If you close systme reocvery, you could save much system disk space (generally speaking, each hard disk with “System protection” opened needs at least 300 MB space. System recovery probably occupies 15% space of each disk), you could close the funciton alternatively. But pay attention! The recovery point file would be deleted the moment you close, and you can open it when you need the function.
1. Open the “Properties” window;
2. Choose “System protection” in the properties;
3. Cancel the selection before the system partition;
4. Choose “Close system recovery”—“Apply”—“OK” and close current window.
Solution 2: set best system performance settings
Notice: after the setup, Vista beautiful interface would be lost, and system speed would be increased. And after that, system interface would look like Windows 2000
1. Choose “Advanced system setup” in computer properties;
2. Choose “Advanced”—“Performance”—“Setup”;
3. Choose the third option “Adjust to the best performance” in vision effect settings;
4. And then click “Apply”—“OK” to close current window.
