Q: dose anybody know how to remove a bios password from an hp laptop
i already tried removing the cmos battery,jumping the jumpers on the bottom of the ram,and bios removal software. I've been told that only hp can do this is this true. please help.
A: When you pull the battery it will set your cmos back to factory
defaults.
Do one thing first, Your CMOS holds a lot of important information so before you go messing around with the battery WRITE DOWN YOUR SETTINGS.

2. On some older PC's pressing the insert key upon startup will clear
