Q:
I installed XP system on my tx1000 laptop, now 90% it could not start. What I can see is a blank screen, while all LED lights are on. If I press DVD drive popup button, salver would come out; if I press mouse lock button, it would be locked.
This situation would happen 90%, and after several times’ trying restart, it could start then. Once it gets started, until I turn it off, this problem would not happen. But the next morning, same problem happened again….the problem I could not figure out is that I tried getting HP client service, but as I am not in US, they could not help me solve the problem in person, what can I do?

1): I have fixed a laptop with the same problem; I know the root causing such a problem: it is probably the failure of the Nvidia display card chip. So far, HP has few solutions for this problem, and you can check up these links:
