How to connect external monitor for Macbook

 1. Start external monitor or projector.

   2. Make sure the cable of the monitor has been connected to external monitor or projector.

   3. Use proper adapter to connect the monitor cable to your Macbook.:


      a. if connect your external device to dvi interface, please use apple mini-dvi to dvi adapter (sale alone)

      b. if connect your external device to vga interface, please use apple mini-dvi to vga adapter (sale alone)

      c. if connect your external device to s-video interface, please use apple mini-dvi to video adapter (sale alone)

      Your Macbook will inspect external monitor, TV set or projector.


   4. Adjust the resolution for the external monitor by the “Display” panel of “System preferences” or the display state in the menu bar.
