Step B-1: supposing system problem is caused because of improper BIOS setup or incorrect hardware operation, then reset BIOS to finish the computer repairing.
If the problem is caused because BIOS reset or incorrect hardware operation, then how to go clean BIOS?
1. One is “jump clean”, you can see there’s a red or blue jumper beside the battery on the motherboard, normally the position should be at 2,3; now jump it to 1,2; restart the computer and press power button, of course it would no power on, but the BIOS is cleaned.
2. Restore jumper to 2,3, restart the computer and press power button. And then keep pressing “Delete” key until BIOS Setting page appears. (According to motherboard, probably you should press F2 or F11 or other), after entering BIOS, find and choose default setup, meanwhile, setup hard drive’s model, archive it and then restart the machine. If the failure is gone, then congratulation, you’ve fixed up your computer. If it still exists, then go to B-2.

B-2: this step is to ensure whether the failure comes from old hard drive or some old hard drive software, and then finally ensure whether the problem is on software.
If you’ve finished the steps above, then 95% it’s the problem of the software. If you need to preserve any personal email, picture, music or document…please enter step B-3. if you don’t need it, then you could format hard drive and test it, make sure there’s no any problem with the hard drive. And then reinstall Windows. This is the final confirmation to see whether it’s software problem. (Ensure the install disk and DVD ROM are 100% perfect) If during the installation or after it, the problem still exists, then go to step B-4.
